Un gran problema

Yo quería hacerme un aro en mi oreja, pero mi mamá no me dejaba, me lo hice igual. Me compre un abridor en un negocio de bijouterie y cuando mi mamá fue a comprar, me puse hielo y el aro.
  Luego de unos días la oreja, estaba verde. El aro era de mala calidad.
  Mi mamá se tuvo que enterar.

I write this book review from the book the phoenix. This is my opinion about it.


The Phoenix

The Phoenix was written by Sylvia Townsend Warner in 1940 it is a short story, set in England and Arabia. It is the story of a mythical bird, the Phoenix.
    The story is about a man, Lord Strawberry, who has an aviary and he discovers this bird can be found in Arabia. So he travels all around the way to Arabia when he finds it, he returns to England with the bird. Some time later Lord Strawberry dies so his executors close the higher offer that was from MrTancred Poldero, the owner of Poldero's Wizard Wonderland. This man abused the phoenix.
     The plot is full of situations that happen in real life such as a part of the story where fiction is represented by the bird's experiences,which are not real. The characters had different attitudes with the phoenix. Lord Strawberry's ambition was to have exotic birds, also he had independent thoughts and Poldero's ambition was money, he was evil and superficial, he uses nature for his comfort. The phoenix was quiet, lonely, big, unique, marvelous but abuse by Poldero.
     To sum up the story is interesting. If you like great stories, I would strongly recommend reading it.
