Final literature work

For the quarterly of literature some friends and I have created a collage about a few stories, poems and a play that we have analysed for the IGCSE exam. With the themes of each piece, we create a thematic statement talking about the general aspect.

Absence

In literature class we have been analysing plenty of poems but I wrote this one related of one of them, The Lost Woman.

It seems to be right by my side

although no more is coming inside

There's now a cold breeze now that

is gone there's nothing less I can live.

My happiness was not base on that

eventhough I've tried to be strong

My heart felt on that hook

A new life to start, a new beginning that rise

After all pain at the end of the way a paradise is born

Experiences make us strong

Losses are like butterflies that fly away

each other different course nevertheless

Necessary to learn

Start all again

In literature class we discuss and analyse this term about three different poems, "The Clod and The Pebble", "Passion" and "Song". Our task is to write a new poem based in one of these poems. I choose "Song", that is about the opinion of a girl about love. Here I leave my work.

A feeling of craziness inside my body
a sense of being imprisoned, where
 there is no escape.

Crying without telling a word about
people thinking that I'm love.
My siblings guess
 that I'm getting away from
him like a butterfly
 that is going to find her way.

They don't know of my life;
get into shades and nobody can
know about them.

Some day they will all find out
but for now I can live with that.

                                                       

How the future will be?

Here I leave my presentation about Billenium, a book in which is presented one idea about how the future will be about. We analyse some aspects of the story in this presentation. I work with  Sofia Rondinelli.

Our assignment was to write a poem based in some poems we have analysed in class. I choose She was a phantom of delight, that is about the loving and admiration of a person.

Seen him everyday

was like waking up for school 

Till the day I fell and everything 

began to be hard, a little awkward and dark

like a feeling of unhappiness 

crying, complaining, thinking.

Now, I see him from another

point of view

clear my ideas of some months not seening 

anything and anyone;

When I let my admiration spread in the air, 

the routine begins again 

and that feeling of letting him go 

make my heart wants me to say hello.
